We’re all looking for scam free money online. Sad to say that when certain marketers find it difficult to make the money they want legally, they sometimes resort to immoral trickery to boost their income.

These kinds of scams can be very wide ranging and cover such things as article theft to boost their own ratings, all the way down to systems that are pure rubbish, enhanced by a very professional sales page. Either way, these scammers are after one thing only, your hard earned cash.

By way of a disclaimer I must say that there are many marketers online that I actually admire. These are people offering decent products. They are not scammers. However, it can be tricky to know who the good guys are. Let’s see if we can avoid the bad boys.

I use Squidoo a lot and I can personally guarantee you that there isn’t even the sniff of scandal. A truly legitimate site.
Article marketing. Don’t be afraid of this. If you have reasonable command of the English language you can write a short article like this one. Article marketing is probably the oldest but most powerful weapon at your disposal. If you are serious about making good money online you absolutely must look at this very seriously indeed. It is priceless.

I told you how powerful article marketing is and I’m going to give you an instance by way of demonstration. As I write this, it is now almost 24 hours since I published an article on this very site. The article is in a very competitive niche. On checking earlier today I found that the article has been taken up by another publisher and appears twicein Google’s free results at numbers eight and ten. What makes this so remarkable is that it appears at positions eight and ten out of more than 22,000,000 results! Am I worried about a third party publishing my article? Absolutely not! The other publisher is playing by the rules and has left my links in the articles where I left them. It means that when his readers read my article they will see my links. You can see just how massive this can be.

Conclusion. You do not need to be taken in by the scammers because you really can do this yourself. Don’t fall for the old patter where you’re told that you can make ten grand a week with no work. Nothing could be further from the truth…

Is there really such a thing as free money for a business? Does the government provide grants to start a business or pay off debts? Well certain individuals who dress up in gaudy suits covered with question marks, you know who I’m talking about, would certainly have you believe it’s true. But it’s not.

The Small Business Administration, SBA, does not provide free money for businesses. They do however provide money for loans and that’s the catch. When clown guy says a certain high profile business was funded by the government, it means the company got an SBA loan, not a grant. According the the SBA there are no grants for commercial purposes. There is no such thing as free money for a business.

SBIR, or Small Business Innovation Research Grants, are awarded by the federal government for research and development in the private sector by independent companies who are not dominant in their industry. The person applying for the grant must work full time in the company receiving the grant. There are two phases. Phase I and Phase II, only those companies who have already received a Phase I grant are eligible for Phase II grants. Grant amounts range from $ 50,000 to $ 500,000 and are competitive. Very competitive.

There are also grants awarded by private foundations to nonprofit organizations. Most businesses are for profit, or at least trying to make a profit.

Can you find grants in the private sector that are awarded to businesses? Yes, but these are usually either very local, or very specific in how the money will be used, in what industry, and where. If you’re looking for a grant, try your local chamber of commerce, Small Business Development Center, SCORE office, or state development office. Just keep in mind the odds are a long shot.

There really isn’t such a thing as free money for businesses.

The Free Banking Era

The 26 year period from 1837 to 1863 is known as the Free Banking era in US history. Banks operated with fewer laws and regulations than in any other. And anyone who could meet minimum requirements could open a bank. Allowing such freedoms did not work very well as many free banks failed and their banknotes became worthless. This is not a viable environment to culture the best forex trading. One of the most disastrous experiences with the free banking occurred in Michigan.

Early in 1837, the state legislature passed in the first free banking law to encourage banking and promote economic stability. Unfortunately it did not. Because banks created money by issuing banknotes people found banking an excellent way to raise money by printing banknotes to finance speculative or dishonest business ventures.

By the end of 1839, most free banks had failed and the public was left with worthless banknotes. Many of the financial shenanigans pulled by banks in Michigan and other free banking states were carried out by wildcat banks. Wildcat banks were open and by dishonest bankers who intended to defraud the public by issuing banknotes far in excess of what they plan to redeem and specie which is gold or silver. The plan would work in this manner. First off to discourage the public from regaining banknotes, bank offices were set up in remote places where only the wildcats would dare to tread. the bank would put the bogus bank notes into circulation by investing the cash and assets that could be sold easily for gold or silver or for the banknotes of a sound bank. These were some of the first forex trading tips in history. As soon as the bank had been known circulation it would close.
